The Schiavo Spammer
Posted by Dana Blankenhorn
Here is the problem I have with special pleading. Anyone can do it.
But once we let one do it, all do it.
And so I call upon whoever hosts the Tony Alamo Christian Ministries to pull the plug on its ISP account.
And I call on all other ISPs to refuse the pastor's money.
I do this because his site just spammed me from the e-mail address tlthe5th@myway.com.
Yes, he thought he had a good excuse -- the Terry Schiavo case. But if that is a good enough excuse to spam, so is any other religious issue. So, too, is any political issue. So, too, is the other side of the issue. So, too, are fund-raising appeals on that issue, then merchandise sales on that issue, etc. etc.
Those in the Ministry should understand bright lines, and know that you don't cross one to stop another. Jesus Christ himself stayed the hand of a man who defended him from arrest, saying he who dies by the sword would perish the same way.
He who lives by spam should lose their Internet privileges as a spammer.
NOTE: If this is a Joe Job (I can find no evidence for it in the message header) I will apologize and remove this post.

I took it upon myself to send out this letter written by Pastor Tony Alamo. I wholly agree with the letter and am very sorry about the Schiavo case and believe it's important to make sure that God's Word gets out so people know what judgment they will face for their actions.

let me see, Thomas Richards thinks his particular religious views are more important than another peerson's right to privacy, so he spams them with a letter he didn;t even write.
Permalink to CommentHow so very Christian of him.
