Free Republic has put up a site on the Winter Soldier investigation, making the case that John Kerry's opposition to the Vietnam war betrayed his fellow soldiers.
If those cheap slurs on his patriotism is the best they can do, then the Kerry candidacy is in good shape.
Don't they have the slightest sense of what it means to live in a democracy?
Joe Conason analyzes the page, and uses Colin Powell's autobiography to back up Kerry's "traitorous" claim that My Lai was not an isolated incident.
That is Kerry's problem in a nutshell the man can literally debate himself. Bring it on, what a joke. What he needs and the Dem party needs is the balls to be liberal. We need to make a clear us vs them distinction. Kerry needs to stand up and be proud of hippy days and his Dukakis disarmament days. If we had followed that advice we would be healhier, wealthier and wiser.
Kerry is going to lose just because he oppossed Vietnam? Vietnam sucked! People got off the plane and the country reaked of death. Monks immolated themselves in protest. The world has to be one ripe piece of shit for monks to start setting themselves on fire in the streets in protest. So what if Kerry was a wannabee and a poser, at least he was posing as something halfway decent and right on! Democrats need to stand in stark contrast to the Nazi jerk off baby killing queer bashing punks we are running against.
Screw appearing with your Vienam buddies, let's the victim's families of the Iraq war and the Vietnam war up on the podium with Kerry. Let's see him do the right thing and let the victim's have a voice this November. If we could bring back just one of those people that died on 9-11-2001 they'd tell us. "we've got to have peace."
"Why in the hell are we here? Surely not to live in pain and fear. Who in the hell do you think you are? A superstar, well right you are." Lennon

If he is as liberal as Ted Kennedy, please bring it on. Let the world know.

If you want a threat to freedom, the Patriot Act is a good example. It was passed in haste, blah, blah....Basically what it does is take away the separation of powers (obviously in the Constitution) by allowing the executive branch to conduct things like searches without Judicial Review. To my knowledge, John Kerry supports this bill. The Constitution spells out certain things and we need to follow them. One of these things is the three branches of government. The Patriot Act has put almost unlimited power in one branch of government (executive), even to the point of allowing them to decide at any point to revoke a person's citizenship or not allow them the rights spelled out in the Bill of Rights. Go to http://action.eff.org and send off a letter to your congressmen asking them to revoke the Patriot Act. And check out http://www.russoforpresident.com, he looks like a great alternitive to the bondage offered by the other candidates. He's for true economic and personal freedom.
