Civic Software

I'm sitting next to Micah Sifry, writer for The Nation and David Technorati's "smarter older brother" (as David introduces him). Micah says: "Some social software ought to be renamed 'civic software.'"

[Thumbs Up] to that...examples like iCan, Meetup, etc.

The Work Foundation guys, Eric and William, had a great session on how social software for policy goals has some limitations...still digging to find the best transcript
