30-Minute Television Shows to be a Thing of the Past
THe Long Tail Blog looks at natural video lengths for internet TV, which will likely not be the standard 30-min/1 hour chunks of today (Who says TV has to come in 30-minute multiples?). He expects a lot of programming to fall into the 1-20 minute range. Absolutely. The biggest issue, I think, will be coming up with an appropriate interface to easily handle "channel surfing" among a plethora of short pieces.
