This week we announce the addition of Alex Williams, the founder of DecisionCast, a producer of online events and programming and the creator and producer of RSS WinterFest and Outsourcing Conversations, to Corante as our new managing director of events.

Alex founded DecisionCast, a social media company that uses Webcast technology, streaming, weblogs, RSS features, and social networking systems to create online events. His responsibilities at Corante will include continuing to conceptualize and produce innovative and compelling programming on cutting edge technologies and trends. He will also continue to produce RSS WinterFest, a seminal online conference which he founded and organized last year and has brought to Corante. The highly attended and much discussed event will become an annual event - info will follow about its date and lineup.

In addition to continuing to produce online programming, Alex will be leading the charge on overseeing our existing events and seminar series and developing and running others on the way.

Alex has been a journalist since 1989 and has worked as a newspaper reporter, magazine editor, television broadcast anchor and online journalist. He earned a earned a master’s degree in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Literature from the University of Denver.
