1. Ivon Alexander Nestoly on Emerging Neurosociety Driven by Neuronanotechnology
I was interested as a ginny-pig, or as a victim(one could say), how would you remove any type of neurotechnological devices, chips, or anytype of implant? Just curious, and is it safe to remove, or is going to make me have a mind of a four year old....jk? But really, and if so, how soon, and how is the procedure? ›››

Disease is a condition which if not treated is chronic and deadly. Addiction fits into that category, it is time to catch up with reality and stop the denial. This is not a moral but a health issue. There but for the Grace of God goes Chuck... ›››

"chronic diseases (cancers, diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, stroke, mental disorders and pulmonary conditions)", most of which are direct results of negative emotions from faulty thinking habits. We need a totally new mental health paradigm; one founded on current science, not on one still trying to make 100 year old theorie work. That will decrease the global healthcare burden substantially. 11. Mike on The End of Abuse - Recognizing Addiction as a Disease Act of 2007
Chuck - The medical field has been calling addiction - especially alcoholism - a disease since the 1960's. Using your logic, heart "disease" is also just a behavior: There was at once a "choice", for example, to not exercise and/or to not eat in a healthy way. These choices could result in a lifestyle, that, over time, had physiological consequences that result into a chronic, potentially life-threatening condition. Addiction works the same way. By the time someone fits the diagnostic cat ›››

12. Chuck on The End of Abuse - Recognizing Addiction as a Disease Act of 2007
Addiction is not a disease. It is a behavior. Tying a behavior to a gene to call it a disease is simply an oversimplification of human biology. What next... I'm sorry I didn't mean to kill him your honor. My genes made me do it. We simply do not know enough about the field of genetics to conclude that genes control behavior. I think that in the end we will find out that our genes do not work in isolation and that they are not locked into a single outcome such as... this gene is the gene res ›››

The God Spot and the Black Hole at the center of the Milkway Galaxy? How do I know? Well its written in the english languauge, that is the effects of stellar space and the violent, speeding activity of planets circling around the Blackhole. Nothing comes out of the Blackhole, but its magnetic activity what affects language. For example the word Religion? Re: "But why timbre? Pop songs replayed with different "timbres" (other instruments) are popular and catchy the same." No, I believe the alternate versions without the classic timbre are usually derided. Re: "Good point, why timbre? Someone could mangle out "Benny and the Jets" on a Moog, for example....and it would still be "Benny and the Jets" :)" It would be Benny and the Jets, but people probably wouldn't like it or remember it. God Spot? Well there is the human brain, which is not isolated from light and radiation from the outside world by the skull. rTMS is indeed quite a promising tool for disorders such as depression and tinnitus. We are currently offering rTMS treatment for depression, and are seeing dramatic improvements on BDI scales within 10 treatment sessions. I think rTMS will even be more promising when it is used as one of the first treatment choices, rather then at the end of the line (i.e. when drugs, ECT etc. have all failed). We also notice no side effects at all. The only question now is, for how long will rTMS be effective ›››

9/11/07 I tend to believe that pharmacuetical research should play a part in Neurotechnology. The human brain can do some amazing things on certian kinds of neuro-drugs related to higher levels of functioning. This includes the ability to influence the unconscious biofields of other human beings, by creating more personal space or a open area around an individual on a neuro-drug, in relation to other people in the vicinity. Scientists should be receptive to a pharmacuetical approach to ›››

What is our agenda? When you come into contact with a given person, jot down their gender, height, weight, age range, race, religion, nationality and put those programs in their heads and send them back to their groups. The rest will take care of itself. Why are we doing this? Because, some of them have innacurate information and abberated programs in their mind and feel there is some short cut to the whole thing. ›››
