General. This Terms and Conditions Agreement (this "Agreement") contains the complete terms and conditions that apply to an individual's or entity's use of the Corante headline news feeds (the "Service"). As used in this Agreement, "We" means Corante, "You" means the applicant, "Your Site" means the site to which you're adding the Service, "Links" means the links to articles provided in the Service, and "Publishers" means the original publishers of the articles to which we link.
1. You may not alter the Service other than to modify font, font color, and font size.
2. You may not sell, license or otherwise assign the use of the Service. (If you are interested in acting as a reseller, contact us at sales@corante.com.)
3. You acknowledge that the Links are protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights of Corante and our Partners.
4. You are not entitled to use Corante to open new browsers which frame articles to which we link.
5. You may not use the Service except as expressly permitted in this Agreement.
6. You may not use the service on websites that include unsuitable material including: sexually explicit content, content that promotes illegal activities, content that promotes discrimination of any form, content that violates intellectual property rights of Corante or any third party.
7. You agree to allow Corante to display your Site's name, logo and URL on our website and in our marketing literature.
8. Corante provides links to other Websites on the Internet. Corante does not assume any responsibility for such content and makes no express or implied warranty about the accuracy, copyright compliance, legality, merchantibility, any other aspect of the content of such sites. The inclusion of such a link does not imply endorsement of the site by Corante or any association with its operators.
9. You agree that Corante is not reponsible or liable for service interruptions or errors of any form.
10. You indemnify Corante from all claims, damages and expenses relating to the use of the Service.
11. Corante may modify the terms and conditions of this agreement at any time by posting a change notice to our site and using reasonable efforts to notify users by email at the email address you are required to supply. Your continued use of the Service constitutes your binding acceptance of the change.
12. Corante may terminate the Service at its sole discretion.
13. You acknowledge that you have read this agreement and agree to all its terms and conditions. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York.
14. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties pertaining to the subject matter hereof, and supersedes in their entirety any and all written or oral agreements previously existing between the parties with respect to such subject matter.
